The iPAD 2 is still a go-ahead for sale on Friday 25th March in this country. This quite surprising as there are now shortages in the US, we were expecting the date to slip; we are not sure how many iPAD 2’s there are in the UK.
For once the price has gone down too, this is very strange as the US price has not changed and the VAT is now higher – go figure. Anyway the prices are as follows:
The WiFi only models are: £399 for the 16GB, £479 for the 32GB and £559 for the 64GB
The WiFi+3G models are: £499 for the 16GB, £579 for the 32GB and £659 for the 64GB
While these are more expensive then the original iPAD they replace, they are cheaper than the models were when introduced:
The WiFi only models were: £429 for the 16GB, £499 for the 32GB and £599 for the 64GB
The WiFi+3G models were: £529 for the 16GB, £599 for the 32GB and £699 for the 64GB
