Lightroom 5 released

Adobe have released Lightroom 5 today, you can purchase the upgrade from as little as £57.54 which seems to be getting ever cheaper. The quickest way to obtain this is if you have an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription (which I do). I have just downloaded the new version and will be taking a look at this later today after work 😦

Lightroom 5 includes a range of new features to help you create even better images, work more efficiently, and share your photos almost anywhere. New tools let you easily remove defects and unwanted objects from your images, automatically straighten tilted shots, and create vignettes with much more control. Now you can work with images without bringing your entire library with you, and you’ll enjoy more creative options for your video slide shows and photo books.

The System requirements are as follows:

  • 2GB of available hard-disk space

  • DVD-ROM drive required if purchasing Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® retail boxed version
  • Internet connection required for Internet-based services†
