At the end of last week Canon UK have introduced price cuts on most of their EF lens line up, these range from a few pounds on the lower priced lenses to hundreds or thousands of pounds on the higher priced items.
The best drop is on the excellent Canon EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x, a lens that was £12,000 when first introduced and is now with the extra cut only £8,750 (£3250 drop or 27% off initial price).
On the one hand I am happy that the prices on some of the lenses that I want are much cheaper but not so happy that I could have saved some money on the lenses that I recently purchased, both the EF-S 10-22 and the EF 500mm f5.6 L lenses have had their prices drop :(.
